Presentation
This course is designed for part-time or contract teachers wishing to prepare for the competitive examination for the internal examinations leading to the grade of "certifié" or its salary scale in the teaching of literature (modern or classical).
Organized under an agreement with the Délégation Académique de la Formation du Personnel de l'Education Nationale (DAFPEN) of the Montpellier Academy and the Faculty of Education, it is open free of charge to teachers registered by the DAFPEN.
However, the course is also open to students who do not have access to the Montpellier Academy's Academic Training Plan and who wish to take part in one of these competitive examinations.
Training is organized around the knowledge and skills required to pass the eligibility and admission tests. At the end of the DE, a certificate of completion is issued to students who have taken at least 75% of the course.
Objectives
Prepare for the internal competitive exams for access to the grade of certified teacher or its pay scale.
Know-how and skills
- Know how to use the specific knowledge and skills (scientific and didactic) acquired to teach history and geography in secondary education: issues, disciplinary concepts, approaches... ;
- Master the Socle Commun de connaissances, de compétences et de culture (Common Base of Knowledge, Skills and Culture) and the various skills-based assessment methods;
- Prepare the file for the eligibility test within the programmatic framework;
- Acquire the ability to reflect on one's career path;
- Prepare for the admission test by mastering all the scientific, didactic and pedagogical requirements, in line with the reference framework of skills for teaching professions.

Admission
Target audience
This course is designed for part-time or contract teachers wishing to prepare for the competitive examination for the internal examinations leading to the grade of "certifié" or its salary scale in the teaching of literature (modern or classical).
Tuition fees
Organized under an agreement with the Délégation Académique de la Formation du Personnel de l'Education Nationale (DAFPEN) of the Montpellier Academy and the Faculty of Education, it is open free of charge to teachers registered by the DAFPEN.
The course is also open to students who do not have access to the Montpellier Academy's Academic Training Plan and wish to take one of these competitive examinations. Tuition fee of €100 for initial training (subject to change).

Professional integration
Teaching Humanities in EPLE (public or private) as a permanent teacher if you pass the competitive entrance exam, or as a contract teacher if you fail.
