This training course is primarily intended for certified or equivalent teachers, temporary or contract teachers who wish to prepare for the internal Economics and Management teaching certification exam or the CAER-Economics and Management teaching certification exam.
Organized under an agreement with the Academic Delegation for the Training of National Education Personnel (DAFPEN) and the Faculty of Education, it welcomes teachers registered with the DAFPEN (special exemption scheme 1) free of charge and on a priority basis.
The training program is also open under the initial training system to students who are not covered by the agreement and wish to take these competitive examinations, which are identical.
A special status is reserved for students already enrolled at the FDE in the MEEF Economics and Management master's program who wish to enroll additionally in this DE (derogation regime 2) in order to prepare for both competitive examinations.
The training program focuses on the knowledge and skills required to pass the eligibility and admission tests. At the end of the DE, a certificate of attendance is issued to students who have completed at least 75% of the training program.
It includes three options in both written and oral exams.
Objectives
Prepare for the internal economics and management teaching certification exam or the CAER economics and management teaching certification exam.
Know-how and skills
- Know how to develop the specific knowledge and skills (scientific and educational) required by the programs in force at the time of the competition.
- Master the methods for the various tests in the competition.
- Prepare for the entrance exams by developing a mastery of scientific, didactic, and pedagogical expectations in line with the Teaching Profession Competency Framework. Two written exams in three specialties: human resources management, accounting and financial management, and business management.
- Prepare for the oral admission exams by developing a mastery of scientific, didactic, and pedagogical expectations in line with the Reference Framework for Teaching Professions. Two oral exams, one in management science in the three specialties presented above and one in either economics or law.
- Increase your level of disciplinary and pedagogical competence in the technical field (STMG terminal cycle and tertiary BTS).

Tuition fees
Organized under an agreement with the Academic Delegation for the Training of National Education Personnel (DAFPEN) of the Montpellier Academy and the Faculty of Education, it welcomes teachers registered by the DAFPEN free of charge and on a priority basis.
The course is also open under the initial training program to students who do not have access to the Montpellier Academy's Academic Training Plan and wish to sit one of these competitive examinations. Tuition fees are €100 for initial training (rates subject to change).
