Overview
This training program is primarily intended for certified or equivalent teachers—whether part-time or contract employees—who wish to prepare for the competitive exam for the internal Agrégation in Economics and Management or the CAER-Agrégation in Economics and Management.
Organized under an agreement with the Academic Delegation for the Training of National Education Personnel (DAFPEN) and the School of Education, it offers free admission and priority enrollment to teachers registered through DAFPEN (special provision 1).
The program is also open, as part of the initial training track, to students who are not covered by the agreement and wish to take these competitive exams, which consist of the same tests.
A special status is reserved for students already enrolled at the FDE in the MEEF Master’s program in Economics and Management who wish to enroll additionally in this DE (special provision 2) to prepare for both competitive exams.
The program is structured around the knowledge and skills required to pass the qualifying and admission exams. Upon completion of the DE, a certificate of completion is issued to students who have attended at least 75% of the program.
It includes three options for both the written and oral portions.
Objectives
Prepare for the exams for the internal agrégation in economics and management or the CAER-Agrégation in economics and management.
Expertise and Skills
- . Be able to develop the specific knowledge and skills (scientific and pedagogical) required by the current exam syllabi.
- Master the methods for the various sections of the exam.
- Prepare for the qualifying exams by developing a thorough understanding of the scientific, didactic, and pedagogical requirements outlined in the Competency Framework for Teaching Professions. Two written exams in three specializations: human resources management, accounting and financial management, and business management.
- Prepare for the oral admission exams by developing a thorough understanding of the scientific, didactic, and pedagogical requirements outlined in the Competency Framework for Teaching Professions. There are two oral exams: one in science and management—covering the three specializations listed above—and one in either economics or law, at the candidate’s choice.
- To improve one's subject-specific and pedagogical skills in the technical track (STMG upper-level program and BTS in the service sector).

Target Audience

Tuition Fees
Organized under an agreement with the Montpellier Academy’s Academic Delegation for Education Personnel Training (DAFPEN) and the School of Education, the program offers free admission and priority enrollment to teachers registered through DAFPEN.
The program is also open, as part of the initial training track, to students who do not have access to the Montpellier Academy’s Academic Training Plan and wish to take one of these competitive exams. Tuition is €100 for the initial training track (price subject to change).
