Overview
This training program is intended for certified or equivalent teachers—whether part-time or contract employees—who wish to prepare for the competitive exam for the internal Agrégation in History and Geography or the CAER-Agrégation.
Organized as part of an agreement with the Academic Delegation for the Training of National Education Personnel (DAFPEN) and the School of Education, it offers free admission and priority enrollment to teachers registered through DAFPEN.
However, the program is also open, as part of the initial training program, to students who are not covered by the agreement and wish to take these competitive exams, which consist of the same tests.
The program is structured around the knowledge and skills required to pass the qualifying and admission exams. Upon completion of the DE, a certificate of completion is issued to students who have attended at least 75% of the program.
Objectives
Prepare for the exams for the internal agrégation or the CAER-Agrégation.
Expertise and Skills
- Be able to develop the specific knowledge and skills (scientific and pedagogical) required by the current exam syllabi.
- Master the methods for the various sections of the exam.
- Prepare for the admission exam by developing a solid grasp of the scientific, didactic, and pedagogical requirements outlined in the Competency Framework for Teaching Professions.

Admission
Admission Requirements
5 years of higher education or more
A successful candidate in a teaching competitive examination, eligible for a special exemption.
Tuition Fees
Organized as part of an agreement with the Academic Delegation for the Training of National Education Personnel (DAFPEN) and the School of Education, it offers free admission and priority enrollment to teachers registered through DAFPEN.
The program is also open, as part of the initial training track, to students who are not covered by the agreement and wish to take these entrance exams, which consist of the same tests. Tuition is €150 for the initial training track (price subject to change).
