Target Audience

• Initial Training:
-DES in Cardiology and Vascular Diseases
-DES in Cardiovascular Medicine
-DES in Anesthesiology and Critical Care
-DESC in Emergency Medicine
-DES in Emergency Medicine
-DESC in Medical Critical Care
-DES in Intensive Care Medicine and Critical Care
-By special exception granted on a case-by-case basis, a student enrolled in another specialty track may be authorized to pursue the D.I.U. based on a particular interest in this supplementary training, following approval by the Academic Committee.
- Holders of the Certificate of Competence in Emergency Medicine (CAMU)
- Students preparing for or holders of a DESC in Emergency Medicine or Medical Resuscitation
- Holders of or students preparing for the DES in Cardiovascular Pathology, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, or Emergency Medicine

• Continuing Education:
- Doctors of Dental Surgery (DE)
- Doctors of Medicine (D.E.) holding a DES in Cardiology and Vascular Diseases, those holding a DES in Cardiovascular Medicine, holders of a DES in Cardiovascular Pathology, holders of a DESC or DES in Emergency Medicine, holders of the DESC in Medical Resuscitation, holders of the DES in Anesthesia and Resuscitation, holders of the DES in Intensive Care and Resuscitation
- physicians with a D.E. in Medicine who hold the Capacité in Emergency Medicine (CAMU)
-By individual exemption, a physician specializing in another medical specialty may be authorized to pursue the D.I.U. based on a demonstrated interest in this continuing education program, following approval by the Educational Committee.
- Foreign physicians (non-EU) who hold a Doctor of Medicine degree allowing them to practice in their country of origin and a specialized degree in Cardiology or Emergency Medicine allowing them to practice that specialty in their country of origin.
