Target audience

• Initial training:
- students in the DES program in cardiovascular medicine who have completed their second year (beginning of third year).


• Continuing education:
- Doctors of Medicine (DE) who hold a DES in cardiology and vascular diseases or a DES in cardiovascular medicine, or who are qualified in cardiology,
- Doctors of Medicine (DE) who hold a DES in anesthesiology and intensive care, or a DES in intensive care medicine, or a DESC in medical intensive care,
-Doctors of Medicine (DE) who hold a DES in nephrology,
-Doctors of Medicine (DE) who hold a DESC in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, or a DES in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery,
-Doctors of Medicine (DE) who hold a DES in internal medicine,
-Geriatricians.

By way of individual exemption, a doctor specializing in another field may be authorized to prepare for the DIU (inter-university diploma) on the basis of their specific professional background and as part of a service project (including for PADHUE [specialized hospital units for elderly people]).

For exemption requests:
candidates must provide a detailed personal career plan and service project. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
