To help strengthen Guinea’s capacity in the aftermath of the Ebola outbreak and in the area of emerging disease control.
Expertise and Skills
Skills acquired:
-Knowledge of the main infectious risks
-Knowledge of the factors contributing to the emergence of infectious diseases
-Knowledge of epidemiological surveillance methods
-Knowledge of the various methods for controlling emerging diseases

Registration Procedures
Obtaining authorization to enroll is essential.
Enrollment authorization issued by the academic advisor after submitting an application on the DU-DIU website: https://du-diu-facmedecine.umontpellier.fr/
Your application must include the following, sent to
: - a resume
- a cover letter
- certified copies of your diplomas
Target Audience
• Initial training:
— students enrolled in health-related programs focused on the management and control of infectious diseases
• Continuing education:
— physicians and healthcare professionals involved in the management and control of infectious diseases (clinicians, laboratory scientists, epidemiologists, public health professionals) (as well as, depending on their experience: pharmacists, scientists, and nurses)
