Objectives
Acquire knowledge in the field of clinical ultrasonography, with the aim of acquiring genuine theoretical and practical skills for acquiring images in line with practice.
This acquisition is based on learning and practicing the different ways of practicing ultrasound in association with and under the responsibility of a radiologist and/or sonographer.
Knowledge of the indications and results of this technique is acquired in comparison with other diagnostic methods, particularly in the field of imaging, which requires professional experience in general imaging.

How to register
A registration authorization is essential and must be attached to a pre-registration file.

-copies of diplomas
-a pre-registration form
-a trainee acceptance form and a letter from the employer undertaking to finance and train the candidate
As the diploma's capacity is limited (first 10 applications received), we recommend you start the application process as soon as possible.

The DIU EA is reserved for paramedical radiology manipulators:
holders of the Diplôme d'Etat de Manipulateur d'Electroradiologie Médicale
-holders of the Diplôme de Technicien Supérieur en Imagerie Médicale et Radiologie Thérapeutique with at least two years' professional experience, and co-signatories of a cooperation protocol filed with the ARS, with the aim of transferring activity for the performance of ultrasound imaging procedures carried out under the responsibility of a doctor specializing in Radiology or Biophysics or an ultrasound technician.
-manipulators who have validated a diploma from an EU country and are legally entitled to practice in France.
-by way of derogation, para-medical staff from healthcare establishments who have validated by equivalence the state diploma of medical electroradiology manipulator.
Prerequisites: diploma obtained at least two years ago.
