Objectives

Acquire knowledge in the field of clinical ultrasound with the aim of gaining genuine theoretical and practical skills in order to acquire images that are consistent with practice.

This acquisition is based on learning and practicing the various methods of performing ultrasound examinations in association with and under the responsibility of a radiologist and/or sonographer.
Knowledge of the indications and results of this technique is acquired by comparison with other diagnostic methods, particularly in the field of imaging, which requires professional experience in the field of general imaging.

Admission

Registration procedures

An enrollment authorization is required and must be included with the pre-enrollment application.

Authorization to enroll issued by the coordinating instructor after submitting an application to the university secretariat:

Your application must include the following:
-a CV
-a cover letter
-copies of your diplomas
-pre-registration form
-internship acceptance form and letter from your employer committing to finance and train the candidate

As the number of places available for the degree program is limited (the first 10 applications received), it is recommended that you begin the application process as soon as possible.

Target audience

• Only open for continuing education:
The DIU EA is reserved for paramedical professionals such as radiology technicians:
-holders of the State Diploma in Medical Electroradiology
-holders of the Higher Technician Diploma in Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Radiology with at least two years of professional experience and co-signatories of a cooperation protocol filed with the ARS, with the aim of transferring activities for the performance of ultrasound imaging procedures carried out under the responsibility of a specialist in radiology or biophysics or an ultrasound technician.
-technicians who have obtained a diploma from an EU country and are legally authorized to practice in France.
-on an exceptional basis, paramedical staff from healthcare establishments who have obtained a diploma equivalent to the state diploma of medical electroradiology technician.

Prerequisite: diploma obtained at least two years ago.
