Objectives
To gain knowledge in the field of clinical ultrasound with the goal of developing solid theoretical and practical skills for acquiring images that meet clinical standards.
This training is based on learning and practicing the various techniques of ultrasound examination in collaboration with and under the supervision of a radiologist and/or ultrasound technologist.
Knowledge of the indications and results of this technique is acquired by comparing it with other diagnostic methods, particularly in the field of imaging, which requires professional experience in the field of general imaging.

Skills acquired:
Acquiring and learning the various techniques of ultrasound imaging in collaboration with and under the supervision of a radiologist and/or ultrasound technologist.

Admission
Registration Procedures
An enrollment authorization is required and must be included with the pre-enrollment application.

Your application must include the following, sent to
: - a resume
- a cover letter
- copies of your diplomas
- a pre-registration form
- an intern acceptance form and a letter from the employer committing to fund and train the candidate
Since enrollment in the program is limited (the first 10 applications received), it is recommended that you begin the application process as soon as possible.
Target Audience
• Not open to students in the initial training program
• Offered exclusively as continuing education:
The DIU EA is reserved for paramedical professionals such as radiology technologists:
-holders of the State Diploma in Medical Electroradiology
-holders of the Advanced Technician Diploma in Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Radiology with at least two years of professional experience and co-signers of a cooperation agreement filed with the ARS, intended to facilitate a transfer of activities for the performance of ultrasound imaging procedures carried out under the supervision of a physician specializing in Radiology or Biophysics or an ultrasound technologist.
-technicians who have obtained a diploma from an EU member state and are legally authorized to practice in France.
-on an exceptional basis, paramedical staff at healthcare facilities whose qualifications have been recognized as equivalent to the state diploma for medical electroradiology technicians
Prerequisite: A degree obtained at least two years ago.
