Target Audience
• Initial training:
— residents pursuing a DESC in emergency medicine or a DES in anesthesia and critical care who can demonstrate their medical experience in a maritime setting.
• Continuing education:
— physicians who meet one of the following criteria: holders of the emergency medicine certification, the DESC in emergency medicine, the DES in anesthesia and critical care, or the DESC in critical care medicine; or those with professional medical experience in a maritime setting.
— nurses with work experience, expertise, or specific skills in a maritime setting.
