The Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT)has developed four university degrees focused on careers in the audiovisual industry:
- Mastery of Visuals in Film and Audiovisual Media
- Post-production for Film and Broadcasting

The Benefits of the Training Program
These four university degrees combine theory and practice in the audiovisual professions, enabling students to acquire or further develop specific skills: image management, visual post-production, sound management, and, finally, audiovisual creation in its overall and collaborative aspects.
These programs prepare students for technical careers in film and the audiovisual industry, such as camera operator, director of photography, assistant director, sound engineer, editor, and colorist. They are also designed for communications professionals who wish to master audiovisual tools for their projects.
Objectives
Provide in-depth practical training and a comprehensive filmmaking experience. You will learn about pre-production (storyboarding, preparatory art direction, permits and filming documentation, production management, and logistics). You will gain hands-on experience in directing, cinematography, and/or sound recording, depending on your choice. You will manage post-production (editing, color grading, sound mixing).

Admission
Target Audience
People who want to have a comprehensive, collaborative experience with the pre-production, production, and post-production of a music video or a short fiction film.
Mandatory Prerequisites
At least 1 year of training in film and audiovisual studies or professional experience in the audiovisual industry.
To enroll in the University Diploma (D.U.) in Audiovisual Production, it is mandatory to have completed the University Diploma (D.U.) in Sound, Image, or Post-Production from the University of Montpellier or an equivalent program.
