Presentation
The Diploma in Business English is offered to students enrolled in the AES and Management bachelor's degree programs, as well as to third-year students studying Business Administration and Management, Accounting and Finance, Strategic Management, and Marketing and Sales.
The unique feature of this intensive 15-hour course is that it allows students to improve their English language skills in small groups.
Objectives
The objective of this intensive week-long course in Business English is:
- To improve specific vocabulary related to the professional world
- To improve oral expression and listening comprehension
- To achieve level B2 of the CEFR
Program
During this week, lessons will focus mainly on comprehension and oral expression through various activities.
Among the topics covered:
- Products: describe and present a well-known brand or advertising campaign
- Strategy: business development
- Costs: negotiating, compromising, making an offer, and reaching an agreement
- Meetings: discussing a client's situation and the launch of a project
The final grade is based on three elements:
- 30% related to participation, effort, and performance in assignments and classroom activities
- 30% based on Friday's listening comprehension test
- 40% allocated to Friday's oral presentation
A university diploma will be awarded upon successful completion of the training program.
