On graduating, the GI student-engineer :

- has acquired a solid scientific foundation in computer science, decision mathematics, statistics and project management methodology;

Possible

Internships punctuate the three years spent at the school:

  • Discovery internship in a company at the end of3rd year during the summer (minimum 1 month) to discover the professional world.
  • Internships
    • The4th year concludes with a summer internship (minimum 2 months) with a company.
    • In5th year, after completing their industrial project, students take part in an engineering internship (minimum 5 months) with a company in France or abroad.
  • In Grade5, students with a suitable profile can :

    • complete a 12-month professionalization contract with a company. The professional contract includes an industrial project and a work placement.
    • take a professional or research Master's degree in parallel with their Polytech course, in one of our partner university departments (AES at the University of Montpellier).

    In years4 and5, they carry out an industrial project (300 hours) that places them in a professional situation and enables them to develop their autonomy.

Target audience

3rd year

- For students of classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles (CPGE): recruitment via the POLYTECH competitive entrance examination.

- For holders of an L2, L3, DUT, BTS or equivalent foreign diploma: competitive entrance exam based on application and interview.

- For PeiP2 students: after validation of course and national ranking.

Grade4

For holders of an M1 or equivalent foreign diploma: competitive examination based on application and interview.

Professionalization contract

Students admitted for initial training can complete their5th year under a professionalization contract.

Continuing education

Under certain conditions, the Computer Science and Management course is also open to employees with at least three years' professional experience in the field.
