In the context ofclimate change, access to sufficient quantities of high-quality water has become aglobal issuefor all of humanity. The internationally recognized Water Science and Technology program aims to trainexpertengineersin the field of waterover a three-year period and now has more than 1,400 graduates. The water sector is amajor industry for eco-businesses and can enable France to position itself as one of the pioneering countries in the field of green growth.

ALL OF THE SCHOOL'S TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE BASED ON A NETWORK OF STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH:
- the industrial world (800 internships, 200 industrial projects, and 50 apprenticeship contracts per year),
- academic research (14 associated research laboratories),
- International (more than 100 partner universities worldwide).
Know-how and skills
Upon graduating, STE engineering students:
- Possesses solid scientific and technical knowledge in all disciplines related to the field of water;
- Is qualified to hold a management position in drinking water operations and production, distribution system design, wastewater treatment plant sizing, stormwater management, environmental impact studies, and natural environment health assessments;
- Able to design, lead, and manage all types of projects in the water sector, in compliance with the economic and legal frameworks of public services.
He is qualified to perform the following duties:

Engineering students complete several mandatory internships in companies or research laboratories:
- 1- to 3-month internship at the end of thethird year;
- 1- to 3-month internship at the end of thefourth year;
- 5- to 6-month internship at the end of the5th year.
In5th year, they carry out an end-of-studies industrial project (300 hours) that places them in a professional situation and allows them to develop their autonomy.

Admission requirements
In3rd grade
- For students in preparatory classes for the grandes écoles (CPGE): recruitment through the POLYTECH competitive examination.
- For holders of a bachelor's degree, master's degree, DUT (university technical diploma), BTS (advanced vocational training certificate) or equivalent foreign qualification: selection based on application and interview.
- For PeiP2 students: after validation of the course and national interclassification.
In4th grade
For holders of a Master's 1 degree or equivalent foreign qualification: selection based on application and interview.
Continuing education
The Microelectronics and Automation program is also available as continuing education, under certain conditions, to employees with at least three years of professional experience in the field.
