The advantages of the training program

Cutting-edge collaboration with industry

MEA engineering students are taught by professors who also conduct research and technology transfer activities in the school's partner research laboratories.

Many of these projects are carried out in collaboration with industry.

They concern cutting-edge fields that future engineers will encounter: integrated circuit design and testing, sensor design, radio frequency identification, space and nuclear radiation hardening, electron microscopy, acoustic microscopy, electrical power transmission, manipulation robotics, medical robotics, mobile robotics.

ALL OF THE SCHOOL'S TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE BASED ON A NETWORK OF STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH:

- the industrial world (800 internships, 200 industrial projects, and 50 apprenticeship contracts per year),

- academic research (14 associated research laboratories),

- International (more than 100 partner universities worldwide).

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN APPRENTICESHIPS?

If you are more interested in a work-study program than a "traditional" student path, POLYTECH Montpellier also offers an apprenticeship program in Embedded Systems (SE), which is very similar to the topics covered in the MEA program.

Internships, supervised projects

Internship

Mandatory

Internship abroad

Mandatory

Engineering students complete several mandatory internships in companies or research laboratories:

- 1- to 3-month internship at the end of thethird year;

- 1- to 3-month internship at the end of thefourth year;

- 5- to 6-month internship at the end of the5th year.

In5th year, they carry out an end-of-studies industrial project (300 hours) that places them in a professional situation and allows them to develop their autonomy.
