Objectives
The Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems in the South (SAADS) engineering program aims to train high-level executives capable of applying their multi-disciplinary, practical and theoretical skills to the service of a wide range of stakeholders (farms, professional organizations, agrifood companies, local authorities, NGOs, etc.), with the aim of optimizing the production and processing of agricultural and food products in tropical and Mediterranean zones, while promoting environmentally and socially sustainable resource management.
Designed over three years (Bachelor of Science 3, Master of Science 1 and 2), the training program identifies and targets two main types of professional situation, distinct but complementary, with agricultural businesses on the one hand and agri-food processing companies on the other.
The training program is designed to produce engineers who are rapidly operational in the field.
