Overview
Objectives
Psychomotor therapists are healthcare professionals who work with children, adults, and older adults who have perceptual-motor integration difficulties that impair their ability to adapt.
Psychomotor therapists focus primarily on intentional movement and its constant interactions with the perceptual, psycho-affective, cognitive, motivational, and motor-
spheres.
They are action-oriented professionals who seek to reduce—or even eliminate—psychomotor disorders through specific situational exercises and perceptual-motor learning.

Assessment Procedures
In each Course Unit (UE), the skills and knowledge assessed may vary. Assessment may consist of a final exam, and/or continuous assessment, and/or verification of attendance at certain classes. The assessment methods selected for each UE are officially published no later than one month after the start of the academic year.
Assessment consists of two exam sessions per year:
- One session at the end of each semester.
- A second exam session in early July, during which each student will take exams for the courses they did not pass during the first session.
The examination committee grants credit for a course after deliberation when the student has earned a grade of 10/20 or higher.
Program
Classes are offered in the following formats:
- Lectures (either in person or delivered remotely via digital media),
- Tutorials (guided instruction).
During the three-year training program, internships are organized in hospitals, private facilities, and private practices.
Admission
Admission Requirements
Admission to academic programs is handled through the PARCOURSUP platform .
Admission to this program is subject to a review of application materials based on the requirements specified on the platform, followed by an oral interview for those selected. Applicants must hold a high school diploma (baccalauréat), a DAEU, a French or foreign diploma that qualifies as an exemption from the baccalauréat, or a qualification or experience deemed sufficient in accordance with the provisions of Article L613-5 of the Education Code.
