Beginning in the second semester of the fourth year, students choose one of four tracks to continue their studies:
- Officine channel DFASP1
- Industry sector DFASP1
- DFASP1 internship program
- DFASP1 research stream
During the 5th year DFASP2, students spend half of the year at the hospital and the other half at the university. They follow only specialized courses according to the chosen field of study. At the end of this year, students take the exam for the Diplôme de Formation Approfondie en Sciences Pharmaceutiques, recognized as a Master's degree.
During the 6th year, the student follows the course of the Master 2 of Research of his choice, in adequacy with his professional project. After validation of the M2, the student must then prepare a university thesis in a research laboratory for three years. During these three years, the student must receive funding. The financing of the university thesis can be ensured by ministerial grants according to the ranking in the doctoral school competitions, but also by private financing (CIFRE type) or by foundations (FRM...).
