Knowledge control
Knowledge control methods
In each Teaching Unit (TU), skills and knowledge can vary. It can be a final control, and/or a continuous control and/or the validation of the presence in certain lessons. The methods of assessment chosen for each UE are published definitively at the latest one month after the beginning of the academic year.
The control of knowledge includes two examination sessions per year:
- A first session at the end of each semester.
- A second session at the beginning of July during which each student will compose for the UE not validated during the first session.
The validation of a UE is pronounced by the jury after deliberation when the student has obtained a mark equal to or higher than 10/20.
Program
The courses are organized in semesters, each semester corresponding to a volume of 30 ECTS (European credits), i.e. 60 ECTS for the year.
The lessons are provided in the form of :
- Lectures (either face-to-face or dematerialized via digital media),
- Tutorials (directed teaching).
During the 3 years of training, internships are organized in hospitals in the ophthalmology department of the CHU of Montpellier, in private structures, and in private practices.
