Presentation

The B.U.T R&T trains senior technicians and managers capable of installing, maintaining, managing, and securing telecommunications systems and communications networks of all types (Internet, local networks, mobile networks, operator networks, fiber optics).

The program is open to holders of a general and technological high school diploma.

Two specialization tracks are offered starting in the second year:

- Cybersecurity: this program covers all professions related to information system security, from the installation of security equipment (firewalls, probes) to their monitoring. Graduates of the Cybersecurity program will be able to administer and supervise a secure information system, as well as detect and defend against cyberattacks.

- System and cloud development: the Internet and the cloud require constant adaptation of the software and infrastructure that support them in order to improve intra- and inter-company services. Companies must adapt to variations in workload and respond quickly to crises caused by security or production incidents. R&T professionals are no longer solely responsible for infrastructure and must collaborate with programmers to maintain a cloud environment that is tailored to business needs and automate production.
