Presentation

The Bachelor of University Technology (B.U.T.) is becoming the new standard degree for university technology institutes (IUTs). By enrolling in a B.U.T. program, you will benefit from a three-year integrated course of study, with no additional selection process required to obtain a bachelor's degree. A DUT (university technology diploma) will still be awarded at the end of the second year, and you will continue to enjoy university-level technological education supervised by experienced mixed teaching teams.

- Digital Creation Course: This course focuses on the skill of expression, i.e., expressing a message or discourse across a range of media in the form of digital creation and multimedia writing.

- Web Development and Interactive Devices Course: This course focuses on developing skills, particularly in website development.

Objectives

The Multimedia and Internet Professions (MMI) program trains technicians in the fields of communication, design, web development, audiovisual production, and digital project management over a period of three years. Throughout the six-semester program, students acquire a range of skills and expertise in multimedia professions.
They learn how to develop a communication strategy while creating and managing the media necessary for its implementation in a coherent and relevant manner.
They learn how to use computer graphics tools for web integration and understand how to program a mobile application. These different areas of learning are covered in lectures, tutorials, practical work, internships, or supervised projects (group work supervised by a teacher).
At the end of their training, graduates will have sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge to enter the job market or pursue a specialization at university or elsewhere.

WORK-STUDY PROGRAM
A true gateway to professional integration, the work-study program is offered starting in the second year of the B.U.T. MMI program and remains a viable option at any time during their studies. The work-study approach, characterized by one week in a company followed by one week of classes, offers an immersive and practical experience. This educational model allows apprentices to put the knowledge they have acquired in class into practice in a real professional environment, thereby strengthening their understanding of the challenges of the multimedia and internet sector. In addition, the work-study rhythm allows students to effectively balance theory and practice. The schedule, developed in collaboration with the initial training program, ensures consistency between the two courses, promoting the exchange of experiences and the sharing of skills between apprentices and students in traditional training programs. This harmonious integration offers apprentices the opportunity to benefit from the best of both worlds, combining academic expertise and professional experience.
