Presentation

Raman spectroscopy is a non-invasive, label-free technique that provides chemical information on samples. For several decades now, applications have existed in many fields of biology (cells, tissues, organoids...).
The reconstruction of chemical maps enables us to better understand the composition and structure of biomolecules such as proteins, lipids and nucleic acids, and their variation in space and time. It is widely used in cell biology and cancer research.
